You are in the conference room trying to get the audio to work. You tested it last night, and it worked fine. The meeting started three minutes ago. Your teams chat is being flooded with comments about being unable to hear the audio, about the video being frozen, about parts of the MS Teams settings and preferences menu that you’ve never heard of.
There had been an update to Teams last night. All the icon placements have been randomized. Your cursor is a rubber duck when it hovers over the window and you don’t know why.
The conference room was overhauled by maintenance. Half the chairs are missing. The HDMI cable has water coming out of it.
There’s a USB cable attached to a potted plant. You try it anyway. The audio connects. You breathe a sigh of relief and the meeting proceeds as normal.
Tomorrow you start again.
